Chuckanut Bay - August 23, 2010

Chuckanut Bay is one of our favorite paddles because it is like travelling through a giant sculpture gallery. There are so many amazing shapes textures and subtle colors. Every time we discover something new. Throw in warm sunshine, clear skies, and water like glass and it makes it all the more magical.

Church Mountain - August 4, 2010

The haze obscured the distant views significantly so the real show became the beautiful meadows and wildflowers. It was a delightful day in spite of the bugs and humidity.

As usual, Ettie enjoyed the flowers.

Wally got on top first.
