Water was spilling from one of the gates on Diablo Dam; a sight we don't see very often. It provided a dramatic addition to the views of the river below and Pyramid Peak far above.

Washington Pass - May 16, 2018
This was the finale to the snowshoe season. The weather was perfect and the views stunning as usual.
State Creek was full as it began it's journey to Lake Chelan.

A perfect spring day in the North Cascades with gorgeous views of the peaks high above got me excited for the high country wilderness hikes coming in a couple of months.
