Happy Hikers
Almost New Years Eve and virtually no snow; but we were still able to enjoy a short hike in our yak traks and enjoy the fog and layered clouds. There was a mystical feeling to the day
It was good to experience the first snowshoe of the year with good friends Michael and Kathy. We did a short loop in the closed Tumwater CG.
Kay, Kathy, Michael and I had a full day with an air boat tour out of Everglades City followed by a driving tour deep into Big Cypress National Preserve. We saw plenty of 'gators'
We caught a boat on the beach in front of our Marco Island Resort and headed out among these flat, Mangrove covered, islets to do some sea shell collecting and to observe some of the resident dolphins. It was a very interesting environment.
