Smith Brook & Lanham Lake - December 2010

We headed to Stevens Pass two weeks in a row to enjoy fresh snow along Lanham Creek and along Smith Brook. It got us in the mood for the holidays.

We should have brought the snow shoes! We intended to take advantage of unseasonably warm weather to enjoy the high country before it was covered with snow. We were a bit late. It was absolutely gorgeous nevertheless.

Rainbow Ridge - October 13, 2010

The phenomenal Indian summer weather continued so we decided to stay in the high country while we could. We chose to do Rainbow Ridge again and this time catch the views.

 Perfect fall weather made an already spectacular hike even more special. Summer had not yet released it's claim on the high country and we were fortunate enough to take advantage of it.
