This is a short walk but the views are great and the rock itself has many interesting features. This was my first time in this relatively new park recently acquired by the Skagit Land Trust.

Lynn Canyon Park BC - August 17, 2026
Lynnelle and Brian invited us to join them on a visit to this delightful park on the edge of the greater Vancouver metropolitan area. It's an urban park with a decidedly wilderness feel.
The suspension bridge across the canyon is a dramatic highlight of the park.
Rice Lake was a real gem.
The pools in the gorge were a popular attraction on a warm day.
Craft Island - July 27, 2026
This is a unique hike, with the wetlands, miles of sand, and the rocky bald of Craft Island.
