Waterton National Park, Alberta - February 2, 2010

Everything is pretty much closed down in the winter in Waterton. That and a dramatic, brooding sky gave the park a lonesome remote feel. The dramatic abrupt transition from Prairie to mountains made for stunning scenery.

Stunning Pictures of Waterton national park. This natural area, rocky Mountains, huge number of plant and animal life and a warm, damp climate. Cedar, hemlock, mountain caribou, mountain goat and grizzly bear are well protected at this place.
