Tiffany Mountain - September 22, 2016

This area of the Okanagan National Forrest was new territory for Kay and I. The larch were in their prime and the long views from the high meadow country were superb. We were a bit gassed at the summit as it was at 8245 ft.

The larch added some welcome color.

Huntoon Point - September 16, 2016

It was fun sharing this short iconic walk with Luna and Grace. I snowshoe this piece frequently but it seems very different without deep snow.

The many small tarns provided nice reflective foregrounds for Mt. Shucksan.

Lake Wenatchee - August 12, 2016

Kay and I explored the marshy, secluded upper end of Lake Wenatchee from our launch spot at Glacier View Campground. It was a delightful paddle on a beautiful day. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day with Lynnelle and the girls.
Dirtyface Mtn. in the background. I'd been on top of it just two weeks before.

Grand Targhee - August 3-7, 2016

The Grand Targhee Resort is in far western Wyoming and is accessed from Driggs Idaho, the nearest town. We were there with Emily, Patrick, and the boys.
The Teton Range dominated the view to the east.
