Artist Point - December 13, 2017

The weather was perfect for the first snowshoe of the season. However it hadn't snowed for some time and the snow was crusty and compacted. We didn't care as the scenery was stunning and the bright sunshine was the perfect antidote to December darkness.

Mt. Larabee and the border peaks form the backdrop for the buried restrooms.

There were photo ops in all directions.

It's difficult to be in a sour mood in all this beauty and light.
