Peshastin Mill Trail - December 31, 2020

Kay and I ended the the year together enjoying our first snowshoe of the season. Perfect weather and fresh fallen snow made for a peaceful New Year's Eve Day. It was a much appreciated sign-off to an otherwise traumatic year; one that was dominated by cancer, Covid, and chaos. It was a reminder to us that, in spite of it all, we are blessed beyond measure. The magic and mystery of life is always there for those who look for it.

The red bark of the Ponderosa, deep blue sky, and a dusting of snow always puts me in my happy place.

Kay caught this shot just as snow broke loose from the branches of this tree.
