Kay and I have driven by this area on Highway 97 often and visited Lincoln Rock State Park a number of times, but had never paddled here. Michael and Kathy introduced us to this beautiful place to paddle.

Ebey's Landing - June 14, 2021
This is the first time Craig, Drew, and I had been on the trail together in a very long time. It felt like old times and we fell into familiar rhythms like having the "After Operations Review" over a brew and a good meal.
We did not have the mountain view but the flower display was amazing.
... and the water was like glass. It was very peaceful, with just the sound of the birds.
Cheers!
Bowman Bay - June 2 & 9, 2021
The first two paddles in the Salish Sea this year were in Bowman Bay. The first was with Kay and the second with Bob the latter paddle involved our kelp monitoring at Coffin Point.
Kay pauses in one of the bays on Lighthouse Point
The pollen in the water at the south end of the bay was so thick it made the water opaque and a very strange shade of green.

Olalla Canyon Trail - June 5, 2021
Good friends and neighbors, Michael and Kathy, shared this trail with us. It was a new one for both Kay and I and we're anxious to try it again in the early spring when the Balsam root is at it's peak. Still this was wonderful outing with far views, blue skies, and puffy clouds.
The Temple in the distance
Can you tell I'm enjoying myself?
