Cutthroat Pass - September 1, 2021

Although I have done this hike many times over the years this was the longest hike I'd done in the past three years. It was a significant test of my capability after nearly  2 years on cancer meds. I was very pleased in how it went.
Eric takes in the 360 degree view from the knoll just SW of the pass.

Eric and I feasted on huckleberries along the way.

Eric was enjoying himself every bit as much as I was.

You can't beat our lunch spot.

You can tell I was in my happy place.

In all directions, all you could see were rugged North Cascade peaks. They were like chop on a wind swept sea.
