Umatilla Rock - May 6, 2022

I've had a hankering to explore some of the trails in Dry Falls Sun Lakes State Park for some time now. I was able to recruit Michael and Kathy to join us on the long drive for the day. We had another great time together. It was well worth the trip.

We stopped at the Dry Falls Visitor Center to get an overview of Dry Falls Lake and the area we would be hiking through.

We also stopped briefly at Deep Lake and determined it would be a worthy future kayak destination

The profusion of wild flowers were a pleasant feature of the hike.
