Wedge Mountain - July 17, 2022

I hadn't been on Wedge in seven years. The loss of the old 4-Runner eliminated the only vehicle I had that I was willing to abuse to get up to the trail head. So when Patrick suggested going up there I jumped at the chance. The road had further deteriorated so I was glad he was driving. My legs were not as strong as they were back then either but I had a wonderful time none the less.

It was special to be hiking with all the Flanagan men. Hugo and Bode are strong hikers.

The views from the ridge top are spectacular.

Seeing Snow Lake, the Temple, McClellan, Little Annapurna et. al. called up fond memories of other adventures in the Enchantments.
