Peach Preserve, Guemes Is. - October 17, 2022

It was our first time visiting this delightful San Juan Land Trust Property. It features a lovely stretch of beach looking across to Anacortes , a meadow adjacent to the beach and a cattail filled wetland. I suspect Kay and I will be walking on the ferry and enjoying a picnic lunch periodically on sunny winter and Spring days.

Robinson Canyon - October 10, 2022

This was a first time hike for us in the L.T. Murray Wildlife Area. It turned out to be a very interesting and beautiful loop.

This picturesque meadow was a hike highlight for me.

Enjoying a lunch log

This abandoned farm structure was interesting to explore.

We enjoyed the color of fall in this Aspen grove.

We encountered these wood signs at a hunters camp.

Sares Head - October 4, 2022

This evening Paddle could only be described as magic. The light filtered through some atmospheric smoke gave the rocks an orange glow. The water was glass.

Kay rounds Rosario Head

Kay savoring the peace and solitude of the evening. We encountered just one paddle boarder the whole evening.

The end of a perfect evening.
