Snug Harbor Resort, where we stayed for our San Juan Island retreat, was situated on picturesque Mitchell Bay. Although we had elected not to bring our kayaks due to the weather forecast, the resort had sit-a-tops available for our use. We took advantage of them on a surprisingly sunny and calm morning.
