Anacortes Weekend with Friends - August 5&6, 2023

 Kay and I  did  our annual hosting of Michael and Kathy this weekend. As always we did a paddle and a hike; this time Burrows Bay and a Guemes beach walk.

Craft Island - August 31,2023

 Kay and I were blessed to have Grace with us for our Monday Hike. We were joined by Kay Glade as we enjoyed walking the exposed sand of Skagit Bay at a minus 3 ft. tide. The weather was absolutely perfect as well.

Teton Family Adventure Part 4: Teton Canyon Trail - July 21, 2023

 On the last full day of our time together, eight of us took this valley trail up to open meadows full of wildflowers. I was full of joy being in this beautiful place sharing it with family. It was a perfect day.

Teton Family Adventure Part Three: Grand Targhee Ridge Walk - July 20, 2023

 Brian and I rode the chairlift to the 9,862 ft. summit of Fred's Mountain where we were confronted with a stunning view of the Tetons. We then traversed to Mary's Saddle and around the back side of Mary's Nipple. we then descended to the village via a service road. it was a grand hike.
