We discovered this trail by accident while on a drive investigating Ohme Gardens Park. It doesn't show in any of my guide books or on the WTA trail map. Perhaps it is because it is all on private property. It was exciting exploring a new trail. It had great views, we saw the first balsam root of the season, and as a real bonus, we saw three big horn sheep. A great day!
The Stuart Range was prominent to the west from the start.
Kathy makes her way up with the Columbia River in the background.
First balsam root!
Youthful exuberance!
Reaching our turnaround point
Rocky Reach Dam
Happy hikers
Heading back to the car
