Salish Sea Weekend - May 22 & 23, 2025

 Dear friends Bob and Judy were up visiting from Santa Barbara and we took the passenger ferry to Friday Harbor for lunch. The next day Bob and I did a short paddle to Burrows Island. It was great to have this taste of the San Juan's

Sage Hills Trail - May 16, 2025

Michael and Kathy joined Kay and I for another hike in the Horse Lake Preserve.

The weather was perfect and we were surprised at the abundance of wildflowers.

Lake Entiat - April 30, 2025

 It couldn't have been better conditions for the first paddle of the year. It was an old standby but we discovered some new nooks and crannies on the west side of the river.

I'd never seen a goose perched on a cliff before.
