Granite Mtn. - June 23, 2010

We experienced our first real summer weather on this outing. It was warm with clear skies and some of us got a bit two much sun. This is an early season ritual for Craig and I. It is always a workout but the views are worth it.

Big Beaver Creek - June 9, 2010

Low overcast again obscured views of the high peaks and blue skies. That was OK because they then weren't a distraction from the main show which was abundant clear water. Recent rain and spring snow melt filled the creeks to make an impressive show.

Diablo Lake Trail - May 26, 2010

Colorful wildflowers and a close up look at the recent rock slide near Ross dam were the highlights for the day. Also we stayed dry when it rained hard back home.

Methow Valley - May 10-12, 2010

Kay and I spent three days enjoying springtime in the Methow Valley. New life was emerging everywhere. We also enjoyed the lingering winter in the North Cascades.
