Vancouver Island - June 25-29, 2012

Kay and I spent 5 days camping on the West coast of Vancouver Island near Tofino in the Pacific Rim National Park with Brian and Lynnelle and the kids. Here's a sample of our beach adventures.

Washington Pass - June 13, 2012

We decided to scout out the area near the Washington Pass overlook for a potential late season snow shoe. It looks like we have a winner.

The first paddle of the season is always special. We were the only people on the island but did share it with some deer, raccoon, eagles, and herons.

Wallowas, Norway Basin - April 11-15, 2012

I had the opportunity to return to the Wallowas with Emily, Patrick and their friends in April. The weather was dramatically better this time and and I was able to get around better as the snow was much more consolidated. It was much warmer and the scenery was spectacular.
