I always look forward to our annual pilgrimage to the rocks above Skyline Lake. Good friends and great weather made it a stellar day.

Big Four Mtn. - January 12, 2013

I enjoyed this hike so much when we did it last month in the falling snow that I felt the urge to visit again. This time there was much better better visibility and bright sunshine. Each trip was beautiful but very different..

Leavenworth New Year 2012 - 2013

We enjoyed good times with good friends bringing in the New Year in a snowy wonderland.

Big Four - December 19, 2012

We experienced steady snowfall most of the day and the snow laid heavy in the trees. Although views were limited it was a magical scene along the Stilliguamish that put us all in the Christmas spirit.

 There could be worse things on the bottom of your shoes Gene.

 We had a nice dry lunch spot out of the snow.

 We were all in a great mood. It was like we were in a big snow globe with the big wet flakes.

 Time to turn back.
