Beezley Hills - April 8, 2017

Kay and I were looking to experience Spring after a long Winter so we we headed to the Columbia Plateau to enjoy some sagebrush-steppe and hopefully some wildflowers. At first we thought we were too early as we could not notice any color other than green and there were still some patches of snow. But upon closer inspection there were many small early blooms promising a more robust display to come. This Nature Conservancy property is a gem with great views across the plateau and out to the Cascades.

Great photos. Should do when the arrowleaf balsamroot flowers are out. Gene
