We discovered this trail by accident while on a drive investigating Ohme Gardens Park. It doesn't show in any of my guide books or on the WTA trail map. Perhaps it is because it is all on private property. It was exciting exploring a new trail. It had great views, we saw the first balsam root of the season, and as a real bonus, we saw three big horn sheep. A great day!

Ancient Lakes - March 18, 224
Kay asked to do this one, and the rest of us were more than happy to oblige. It was the last full day before the Spring Equinox but it felt more like Summer. Cooper joined us and enjoyed himself and didn't need to be carried at all.
Hey, Where are my boots? I swore I packed them.
We had a great lunch spot in the shade.
Getting a bit tippsy at the end.
Late Winter Fun in Leavenworth - March 14&15. 2024
Kay and I hadn't been in Leavenworth for about a month and the weather was warming so we thought we'd get out on the Ski Hill trails before they were open to mountain bikes.

I snuck out the next afternoon to get one last snowshoe up in Camas Meadow.
