Kay and I dodged the showers to enjoy some explorations near Lake Quinault one day during our stay on the Peninsula.

Moss everywhere
Exploring the Anton Kestner Homestead was the highlight of the day.
Settled in the late 1800s it is now owned by the National Park Service.
A nice trail wound through the Kestner property providing a close view of the rainforest eco-system
